    1PAUL, AN apostle (special messenger) of Christ Jesus (the Messiah), by the divine will (the purpose and the choice of God) to the saints (the consecrated, set-apart ones) [a]at Ephesus who are also faithful and loyal and steadfast in Christ Jesus:
Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¶æ(¸ñÀû°ú ¼±ÅÃ)¿¡ µû¶ó ¿¹¼ö±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ »çµµµÈ ¹Ù¿ï·ÎºÎÅÍ ¿¹¼ö±×¸®½ºµµ¾È¿¡¼­ ¶ÇÇÑ ½Å½ÇÇÏ°í Ã漺µÇ¸ç º¯ÇÔ¾øÀÌ È®°íÇÑ ¿¡º£¼Ò¿¡ ÀÖ´Â ¼ºµµµé¿¡°Ô,
    2May grace (God's unmerited favor) and spiritual peace [which means peace with God and harmony, unity, and undisturbedness] be yours from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Çϳª´Ô ¿ì¸® ¾Æ¹öÁö¿Í ¿¹¼ö±×¸®½ºµµ·Î ºÎÅÍ ÀºÇý(ºÐ¿¡ ³ÑÄ¡´Â ÇýÅÃ, ÀºÃÑ)¿Í ¿µÀû Æò°­(Çϳª´Ô°ú ÇÔ²² ÇÏ´Â Æò°­, Á¶È­, ÀÏÄ¡, Æò¿ÂÇÔ) ÀÌ ³ÑÄ¡±â¸¦ ±âµµÇϸç
    3May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm! ±×¸®½ºµµ¾È¿¡¼­ ÇÏ´ÃÀÇ ¸ðµç ¿µÀû(¼º·É¿¡ ÀÇÇØ ÁÖ¾îÁö´Â) ÃູÀ» ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ÁֽŠÇϳª´Ô, ¿ì¸® ÁÖ¿¹¼ö±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ ¾Æ¹öÁö²² Âù¾çÀ»(¼ÛÃàÀ») µå¸³´Ï´Ù.
    4Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love. ¼¼»óÀÌ Á¶¼ºµÇ±â ÀüºÎÅÍ ¿¹¼ö±×¸®½ºµµ¾È¿¡¼­  »ç¶ûÀ¸·Î (Çϳª´Ô ÀÚ½ÅÀ» À§ÇØ ±×ºÐÀÇ ¼ÒÀ¯·Î¼­)¿ì¸®¸¦ ¼±ÅÃÇϽðí Çϳª´Ô±×ºÐÀÌ º¸½Ã±â¿¡ °Å·èÇÏ°í(±×ºÐÀ» À§ÇØ Çå½ÅÄÉ ÇϽðí, ¼ºÈ­½ÃÅ°½Ã°í ¼ºº°Çϼż­) ÈìÀÌ ¾ø°Ô ÇÏ½Ã°í ±×ÀÇ »ç¶ûÇÏ´Â ÀÚ (¿¹¼ö)¾Õ¿¡¼­ ºñ³­¹ÞÁö ¾Êµµ·Ï ÇϽ÷Á°í
    5For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]--±×ºÐÀÇ ¸ñÀû¿¡ µû¶ó (±×°ÍÀÌ ±×ºÐÀÇ ±â»ÝÀÌ¿ä Ä£ÀýÇÑ ÀǵµÀ̱⿡) ¿¹¼ö±×¸®½ºµµ¸¦ ÅëÇÏ¿© ¿ì¸®¸¦ ±×ºÐÀÇ ÀÚ³à·Î ¿¹Á¤ÇϽðí(¿ì¸®¸¦ À§ÇÑ »ç¶û¾È¿¡¼­ °èȹÇϽðí) ÀÔ¾çÇÏ¿©(³ªÅ¸³») Áּż­
    6[So that we might be] to the praise and the commendation of His glorious grace (favor and mercy), which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. ±×ÀÇ »ç¶ûÇϽô ÀÚ ¿¹¼ö ¾È¿¡¼­ ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ÀÚÀ¯·ÎÀÌ ÁֽŠ±×ºÐÀÇ ¿µ±¤½º·¯¿î ÀºÇý(ÀºÃÑ°ú ±àÈá)¸¦ ³ôÀÌ°í Âù¼ÛÄÉ Çϼ̽À´Ï´Ù.
    7In Him we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) through His blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcomings and trespasses), in accordance with the riches and the generosity of His gracious favor, ¿¹¼ö¾È¿¡¼­ ±×ÀÇ ÇǸ¦ ÅëÇؼ­,  ±×ºÐÀÇ ÀºÇý·Î¿î ÀºÃÑÀÇ Ç³¼ºÇÔ°ú °ü´ëÇϽɿ¡ µû¶ó, ¿ì¸®´Â ¿ì¸® Á˾Ç(Çã¹°°ú ÁË)ÀÇ »çÇÔ(¿ë¼­), °ð ±¸¼Ó(±¸Á¶¿Í ±¸¿ø)À» ¹Þ¾Ò½À´Ï´Ù.
    8Which He lavished upon us in every kind of wisdom and understanding (practical insight and prudence), Çϳª´ÔÀº ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ¸ðµç ÁöÇý¿Í ÃѸí(½ÇÁ¦ÀûÀÎ ÅëÂû·Â°ú ½ÅÁßÇÑ ºÐº°·Â)À» ¾Æ³¦¾øÀÌ ºÎ¾î Áּ̽À´Ï´Ù.
    9Making known to us the mystery (secret) of His will (of His plan, of His purpose). [And it is this:] In accordance with His good pleasure (His merciful intention) which He had previously purposed and set forth in Him, ±×¸®°í ±×ºÐÀÇ ±â»µÇϽô (¿¹Àü¿¡ ÀǵµÇÏ¼Ì°í ±×ºÐ¾È¿¡¼­ ½ÃÀÛÇϽÅ) ¶æ(ÀÚºñ·Î¿ì½Å ÀÛÁ¤)¿¡ µû¶ó ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ±×ºÐÀÇ ¶æÀÇ(°èȹ, ¸ñÀûÀÇ) ½Åºñ·Î¿î ºñ¹ÐÀ» ¾Ë°Ô Çϼ̽À´Ï´Ù.
    10[He planned] for the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them up and consummate them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and things on the earth. Çϳª´ÔÀº ¶§°¡ ¹«¸£ÀÍ°í ½Ã´ëÀÇ Á¤Á¡¿¡ ´ÞÇÒ ¶§,  Çϴðú ¶¥ÀÇ ¸ðµç °ÍµéÀÌ ÇϳªµÇ¾î ÀϾ °í°³¸¦ µé°í ±×¸®½ºµµ¾È¿¡¼­ Á¤Á¡¿¡ ´ÞÇϵµ·Ï(ÅëÀϵǰÔ) °èȹÇϼ̽À´Ï´Ù.
    11In Him we also were made [God's] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will, ¿¹¼ö´Ô ±×ºÐ¾È¿¡¼­ ¶ÇÇÑ ¿ì¸®´Â Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ±â¾÷(À¯»ê)ÀÌ µÇ¾ú°í ¿ì¸®´Â À¯»êÀ» ¹Þ¾Ò½À´Ï´Ù: Çϳª´Ô ÀÚ½ÅÀÇ ¶æ¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ÇùÀÇ¿Í °í¾ÈÇϽɿ¡ ÀÏÄ¡µÇ°Ô ¸ðµç °ÍÀ» ÇàÇϽôÂ, ¹Ù·Î ±×ºÐÀÇ ¸ñÀû¿¡ µû¶ó ¿ì¸®´Â ¼±ÅÃµÇ°í ¿¹Á¤µÇ¾ú´Âµ¥.
    12So that we who first hoped in Christ [who first put our confidence in Him have been destined and appointed to] live for the praise of His glory! ¸ÕÀú ±×ºÐ¾È¿¡¼­  ±×¸®½ºµµ¸¦ ¹Ù¶ó´ø ¿ì¸®°¡ (È®½ÅÇÑ´ë·Î) ±×ºÐÀÇ ¿µ±¤ÀÇ Âù¼ÛÀÌ µÇ¾î »ìµµ·Ï ÇÏ¿© Áּ̽À´Ï´Ù.                                                                                                                                              13In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit.  ±×ºÐ¾È¿¡¼­ Áø¸®ÀÇ ¸»¾¸, Áï ±¸¿øÀÇ º¹À½À» µé¾ú°í ±×ºÐÀ» ¹Ï°í, ºÙµé°í ÀÇÁöÇÏ°í ÀÖ´Â ¿©·¯ºÐµµ ¿À·¡ÀüºÎÅÍ ¾à¼ÓÇϽŠ¼º·ÉÀÇ ÀÎÄ¡½ÉÀ» ¹Þ¾Ò½À´Ï´Ù.                                                                                                                                     14That [Spirit] is the guarantee of our inheritance [the firstfruits, the pledge and foretaste, the down payment on our heritage], in anticipation of its full redemption and our acquiring [complete] possession of it--to the praise of His glory.  ¼º·É´ÔÀº  ¾à¼ÓÇϽŠ¿ì¸®ÀÇ À¯»êÀÇ º¸Áõ( ù¿­¸Å, ¸Àº¸±â, ¼­¾à¹°)À¸·Î¼­ ¿ÏÀüÇÑ ¿ì¸®ÀÇ ±¸¼ÓµÊ°ú ¿ÏÀüÇÑ ¿ì¸®ÀÇ ¼ÒÀ¯¸¦ ±â´ëÇÏ°Ô ÇÏ°í ±×ºÐÀÇ ¿µ±¤À» Âù¾çÄÉ ÇϽʴϴÙ.
    15For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints (the people of God), ÀÌ·± ±î´ß¿¡ ³ª´Â ¿¹¼ö±×¸®½ºµµ¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ¿©·¯ºÐÀÇ ¹ÏÀ½°ú ¸ðµç ¼ºµµµéÀ» ÇâÇÑ »ç¶ûÀ» µè°í¼­
    16I do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers. ³»°¡ ±âµµ ÇÒ ¶§¿¡ Ç×»ó ¿©·¯ºÐÀ¸·Î ÀÎÇØ °¨»ç¸¦ Çϳª´Ô²² ¿Ã¸³´Ï´Ù.
    17[For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, ³»°¡ Ç×»ó ±âµµÇÏ´Â °ÍÀº ¿¹¼ö ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ Çϳª´Ô, ¿µ±¤ÀÇ ¾Æ¹öÁö²²¼­ ¿©·¯ºÐ¿¡°Ô ÁöÇý¿Í °è½Ã(ºÒ°¡»çÀÇ¿Í ºñ¹Ðµé¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ÅëÂû·Â)ÀÇ ¿µÀ» Áּż­ ¾Æ¹öÁö¸¦ (±íÀÌ, ±×¸®°í Ä£¹ÐÇÏ°Ô) ¾Ë¾Æ°¡°Ô ÇϽðí
    18By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones), ¿©·¯ºÐÀÇ ½É·ÉÀÇ ´«À» ºûÀ¸·Î ³ÑÄ¡°Ô Çϼż­ ±×ºÐ²²¼­ ¿©·¯ºÐÀ» ºÎ¸£½Å ¼Ò¸ÁÀ» , ¶ÇÇÑ ¼ºµµµé ¾È¿¡ ÀÖ´Â ¿µ±¤½º·± À¯¾÷ÀÌ ¾ó¸¶³ª dz¼ºÇÑÁö¸¦  ¾Ë°í ÀÌÇØÇϸç
    19And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength,  ´õºÒ¾î ±×ºÐÀÇ Àü´ÉÇϽŠ´É·ÂÀÇ »ç¿ªÀ¸·Î º¸¿©Á̵ּíÀÌ ¹Ï´Â ¿ì¸®¸¦ À§Çؼ­, ¿ì¸®¾È¿¡ ºÎ¾îÁֽŠÃø·®¸øÇÒ  ¹«ÇÑÇÏ°íµµ ÃÊ¿ùÀûÀÎ ±×ºÐÀÇ ´É·ÂÀÇ Å©½ÉÀ» ¾Ë°í ÀÌÇØÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ°Ô µÇ±â¸¦ ¹Ù¶ø´Ï´Ù.
    20Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places],    Çϳª´Ô²²¼­´Â ±× ´É·ÂÀ¸·Î ¿¹¼ö´ÔÀ» Á×ÀºÀÚ °¡¿îµ¥¼­ ÀÏÀ¸Å°½Ã°í ÇÏ´Ã º¸Á¿¡ Çϳª´Ô ÀÚ½ÅÀÇ ¿ìÆí¿¡ ¾É°Ô Çϼ̽À´Ï´Ù.
    21Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come. ±×»Ó¸¸ ¾Æ´Ï¶ó ¸ðµç ÅëÄ¡ÀÚ, ±Ç¼¼. ´É·Â, Áö¹è±Ç°ú ¶Ç ÀÌ ½Ã´ë¿Í À̼¼»óÀ̳ª ¿À´Â ¼¼´ë¿Í ¼¼»óÀÇ ¸ðµç ¾ð±ÞµÇ°í ¾ð±ÞÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ´Â À̸§À§¿¡ ±×¸®½ºµµ¸¦ ´õ ¶Ù¾î³ª°Ô Çϼ̽À´Ï´Ù.
    22And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church], ±×¸®°í Çϳª´ÔÀº ¸ðµç °ÍÀ» ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ ¹ß¹Ø¿¡ µÎ½Ã°í ±×ºÐÀ» Àü¿ìÁÖÀûÀÎ, ÃÖ»óÀÎ ±³È¸ÀÇ ¸Ó¸®·Î(¸ðµç ±³È¸¿¡ °ÉÃÄ ¸Ó¸®°¡ µÊÀ») Áö¸íÇϼ̽À´Ï´Ù.
    23Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself]. ±³È¸´Â ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ ¸öÀÌ¸ç ¾îµð¼­³ª ¸ðµç °ÍÀ» ¿ÏÀüÇÏ°Ô ¸¸µå½Ã°í ±×ºÐÀÌ ÀÖ´Â °÷Àº ¾îµðµçÁö ¸ðµç °ÍÀ» Ã游ÇÑ ºÐ·®±îÁö ³ÑÄ¡µµ·Ï ä¿öÁÖ´Â ºÐÀÌ °è½Å °÷ÀÔ´Ï´Ù.


Ephesians 2
    1AND YOU [He made alive], when you were dead (slain) by [your] trespasses and sins
¿©·¯ºÐÀÇ Çã¹°°ú ÁË·Î ÀÎÇØ Á×¾îÀÖ¾úÀ» ¶§ ±×ºÐÀº ¿©·¯ºÐÀ» »ì·Á Áּ̽À´Ï´Ù.
    2In which at one time you walked [habitually]. You were following the course and fashion of this world [were under the sway of the tendency of this present age], following the prince of the power of the air. [You were obedient to and under the control of] the [demon] spirit that still constantly works in the sons of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against the purposes of God]. ¿©·¯ºÐÀÌ (Ÿ¶ôÇÑ)½À°ü¿¡ µû¶ó °È°í ÀÖÀ» ¹Ù·Î ±×¶§,  ¿©·¯ºÐÀº À̼¼»óÀÇ (ÀÌ ½Ã´ëÀÇ, ¿äµ¿Ä¡´Â)À¯Çà°ú °æ·Î¸¦ µû¸£¸ç, °øÁßÀÇ ±Ç¼¼ ÀâÀºÀÚ¸¦ µû¸£°í ÀÖ¾ú´Âµ¥, ±× ¾ÇÇÑ ¿µÀº Áö±Ýµµ ºÒ¼øÁ¾ÀÇ (Á¦¸Ú´ë·ÎÀÌ°í, ¹Ý¿ªÇϸç, Çϳª´ÔÀ» ¹ÏÁö¾ÊÀ¸¸ç, Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¸ñÀû¿¡ ¹Ý´ë·Î °¡´Â) ¾Æµéµé ¼Ó¿¡¼­ È°µ¿ÇÏ°í ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù.
    3Among these we as well as you once lived and conducted ourselves in the passions of our flesh [our behavior governed by our corrupt and sensual nature], obeying the impulses of the flesh and the thoughts of the mind [our cravings dictated by our senses and our dark imaginings]. We were then by nature children of [God's] wrath and heirs of [His] indignation, like the rest of mankind. ¿©·¯ºÐ°ú ³ªµµ ÀÌµé °¡¿îµ¥¼­ À°Ã¼ÀÇ Á¤¿å(Ÿ¶ôÇÏ°í °¨°¢ÀûÀÎ º»¼º)À» µû¶ó¼­ À°Ã¼ÀÇ Ã浿°ú (°¨°¢°ú ¾îµÎ¿î »ó»óÀ¸·Î ÀÎÇØ °æµµµÈ) È¥ÀÇ »ý°¢¿¡ ¼øÁ¾ÇÏ¿©, ÀÚÇàÀÚÁ¦ÇÏ¸ç »ì¾Ò¾ú½À´Ï´Ù. ¿ì¸®´Â º»Áú»ó ´Ù¸¥ »ç¶÷µé°ú ¸¶Âù°¡Áö·Î (Çϳª´ÔÀÇ)ºÐ³ëÀÇ ÀÚ½ÄÀÌ¿ä, ³ë¿©¿òÀÇ »ó¼ÓÀÚ¿´½À´Ï´Ù.
    4But God--so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us, ±×·¯³ª, Çϳª´Ô--±×ºÐÀÇ ÀÚºñ°¡ ¾ó¸¶³ª dz¼ºÇϽÅÁö¿ä!!! ¿ì¸®¸¦ »ç¶ûÇϽŠ±× Å©°í ³î¶ø°í °­·ÄÇÑ »ç¶û¶§¹®¿¡ ¶Ç ±×°ÍÀ» ¸¸Á·½ÃÅ°±â À§ÇØ
    5Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation).ÁË¿Í Çã¹°·Î Á×¾úÀ» ¶§Á¶Â÷ ¿ì¸®¸¦ ±×¸®½ºµµ¿Í ÇÔ²² »ì¸®½Ã°í ±³Á¦¿Í ¿¬ÇÕ°¡¿îµ¥·Î À̲ô¼Ì½À´Ï´Ù. (¿¹¼ö´ÔÀº ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ±×¸®½ºµµ ÀÚ½ÅÀÇ »ý¸íÀ» Áּ̰í Çϳª´ÔÀº ¶È°°Àº »ý¸íÀ¸·Î ±×ºÐÀ» µÇ»ì¸®¼Ì½À´Ï´Ù.) ¿©·¯ºÐÀÌ ±¸¿ø¹ÞÀº °ÍÀº ÀºÇý·Î(Àڰݾø´Â ¿©·¯ºÐÀÌ ¹ÞÀº ¹Ù ±×ºÐÀÇ ÀºÃÑ°ú ÀÚºñ·Î) ¸»¹Ì¾ÏÀº °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù.
    6And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One). ±×¸®°í Çϳª´ÔÀº ±×ºÐ°ú ÇÔ²² ¿ì¸®¸¦ ½Â±Í½ÃÄÑÁּż­ ¿¹¼ö´Ô¾È¿¡¼­ ÇÔ²² ÇÏ´Ã º¸Á¿¡ ¾É°Ô ÇØ Áּ̽À´Ï´Ù.
    7He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus. ±×·¸°Ô ÇϽÉÀ¸·Î½á Çϳª´ÔÀº ¿À´Â ½Ã´ë¸¦ ÅëƲ¾î¼­ ¿¹¼ö¾È¿¡¼­ ¿ì¸®¸¦ ÇâÇÑ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ Ä£ÀýÇϽɰú ¼±ÇϽɾȿ¡¼­ ±×ºÐÀÇ ÀÚÀ¯·Î¿ì½Å ÀºÇý°¡  Ãø·®¸øÇÒ ¸¸Å­ dz¼ºÇϽÉÀ» ºÐ¸íÈ÷ È®ÁõÇØ Áּ̽À´Ï´Ù.
    8For it is by free grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; ¿©·¯ºÐÀº ¹ÏÀ½À¸·Î ¸»¹Ì¾Ï¾Æ ±¸¿ø¹Þ´Â ÀºÃÑÀ» ¾ò¾ú½À´Ï´Ù.     9Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law's demands], lest any man should boast.     10For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. °Åµì³­ ¿ì¸®´Â Çϳª´Ô ±×ºÐ ÀÚ½ÅÀÌ,  ¿ì¸®¸¦ À§ÇØ ¿¹Á¤ÇϽŠ¼±ÇÑ ÀϵéÀ» À§ÇØ

    12[Remember] that you were at that time separated (living apart) from Christ [excluded from all part in Him], utterly estranged and outlawed from the rights of Israel as a nation, and strangers with no share in the sacred compacts of the [Messianic] promise [with no knowledge of or right in God's agreements, His covenants].     13But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were [so] far away, through (by, in) the blood of Christ have been brought near. ±×·¯³ª  ¿©·¯ºÐÀÌ ¿¹Àü¿¡´Â ¶³¾îÁ® ÀÖ¾úÁö¸¸, ÀÌÁ¦´Â±×¸®½ºµµ ¿¹¼ö¾È¿¡¼­ ¿¹¼öº¸Ç÷·Î °¡±î¿ÍÁ³½À´Ï´Ù.
    14For He is [Himself] our peace (our bond of unity and harmony). He has made us both [Jew and Gentile] one [body], and has broken down (destroyed, abolished) the hostile dividing wall between us, ¿¹¼ö´ÔÀº ±×ºÐ ÀÚ½ÅÀÌ (¿¬ÇÕ°ú Á¶È­ÀÇ °á¼ÓÀ» ÁֽôÂ) ¿ì¸®ÀÇ Æò°­À̽ʴϴÙ. ¿ì¸® µÑÀ» Çϳª·Î ¸¸µå½Ã°í ¿ì¸®»çÀÌ¿¡ ÀÖ´ø Àû´ë°¨ÀÇ º®À» Ç㹫¼Ì½À´Ï´Ù.

    16And [He designed] to reconcile to God both [Jew and Gentile, united] in a single body by means of His cross, thereby killing the mutual enmity and bringing the feud to an end. ÀÌ ¿¬ÇÕµÈ µÑÀ» ±×ºÐÀÇ ½ÊÀÚ°¡¸¦ ÅëÇØ Çϳª·Î¼­ Çϳª´Ô°ú È­ÇØÇϵµ·Ï Çϼż­ »óÈ£ Àû´ë°¨À» Á×ÀÌ¼Ì°í ¿øÇÑÀ» ³¡³»µµ·Ï Çϼ̽À´Ï´Ù.
    17And He came and preached the glad tidings of peace to you who were afar off and [peace] to those who were near. ±×¸®°í ±×ºÐÀº ¿À¼Å¼­ Æò°­ÀÇ ±â»Û ¼Ò½ÄÀ» ¸Ö¸® ÀÖ´ø ¿©·¯ºÐ¿¡°Ô¿Í °¡±îÀÌ ÀÖ´ø »ç¶÷µé¿¡°Ô ÀüÇϼ̽À´Ï´Ù.
    18For it is through Him that we both [whether far off or near] now have an introduction (access) by one [Holy] Spirit to the Father [so that we are able to approach Him]. ±×ºÐÀ» ÅëÇؼ­ ¿ì¸® µÑ ´Ù ÇÑ ¼º·É´Ô¿¡ ÀÇÇØ ¾Æ¹öÁö²² ³ª¾Æ°¨À» ¾ò¾ú½À´Ï´Ù.
    19Therefore you are no longer outsiders (exiles, migrants, and aliens, excluded from the rights of citizens), but you now share citizenship with the saints (God's own people, consecrated and set apart for Himself); and you belong to God's [own] household. ±×·¯¹Ç·Î ¿©·¯ºÐÀº ´õÀÌ»ó ¿ÜºÎÀÎ(½Ã¹Î±ÇÀÌ ¾ø´Â)ÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï¶ó ¼ºµµµé°ú ÇÔ²² ÇÏ´ÃÀÇ ½Ã¹Î±ÇÀ» °¡Áý´Ï´Ù.     20You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself the chief Cornerstone. ¿©·¯ºÐÀº ¸Ó¸´µ¹ÀÎ ±×¸®½ºµµÈ­ ÇÔ²², »çµµ¿Í ¼±ÁöÀÚµéÀÇ ±âÃÊÀ§¿¡ ¼¼¿öÁ® ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù.
    21In Him the whole structure is joined (bound, welded) together harmoniously, and it continues to rise (grow, increase) into a holy temple in the Lord [a sanctuary dedicated, consecrated, and sacred to the presence of the Lord]. ±×ºÐ ¾È¿¡¼­ Àüü ±¸Á¶°¡ ¼­·Î Á¶È­µÇµµ·Ï °áÇյǰí ÁÖ´Ô ¾È¿¡¼­ (Çå½ÅµÇ°í ¼ºÈ­ µÇ°í  Çϳª´Ô ÀÓÀç ¾Õ¿¡¼­ ¼ºº°µÈ)°Å·èÇÑ ¼ºÀüÀ¸·Î °è¼ÓÇؼ­ ÀÚ¶ó°©´Ï´Ù.
    22In Him [and in fellowship with one another] you yourselves also are being built up [into this structure] with the rest, to form a fixed abode (dwelling place) of God in (by, through) the Spirit. ±×ºÐ¾È¿¡¼­ ±×¸®°í ´Ù¸¥ »ç¶÷µé°úÀÇ ±³Á¦°¡¿îµ¥¼­ ¿©·¯ºÐ Àڽŵµ ³ª¸ÓÁö ºÎºÐµé°ú ÇÔ²² ÇÑ °ÇÃ๰·Î¼­ ¼¼¿öÁ®¼­ ¼º·É´Ô¾È¿¡¼­ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ °ß°íÇÑ Ã³¼Ò°¡ µÇ¾î °©´Ï´Ù.

Ephesians 3
    1FOR THIS reason [because I preached that you are thus built up together], I, Paul, [am] the prisoner of Jesus the Christ for the sake and on behalf of you Gentiles

    2Assuming that you have heard of the stewardship of God's grace (His unmerited favor) that was entrusted to me [to dispense to you] for your benefit, ¿©·¯ºÐÀÇ À¯ÀÍÀ» À§ÇØ (¿©·¯ºÐ¿¡°Ô ±×°ÍÀ» ³ª´©¾î ÁÖ¶ó°í)³»°Ô À§ÀÓµÈ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ÀºÇýÀÇ »çȯµÊ(Á÷ºÐ)¿¡ ´ëÇØ ¿©·¯ºÐÀÌ µéÀ¸¼ÌÀ¸¸®¶ó°í »ý°¢µË´Ï´Ù.
    3[And] that the mystery (secret) was made known to me and I was allowed to comprehend it by direct revelation, as I already briefly wrote you. ±×¸®°í ³»°¡ Àü¿¡ ÀÌ¹Ì °£´ÜÈ÷ ½á º¸³½´ë·Î Çϳª´ÔÀº Á÷Á¢ÀûÀÎ °è½Ã·Î ½Åºñ·Î¿î °¨ÃßÀΠ ºñ¹Ð(°èȹ)À» ³»°¡ ¾Ë°í ÀÌÇØÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖµµ·Ï ÇØ Áּ̽À´Ï´Ù.
    4When you read this you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ. ¿©·¯ºÐÀÌ ÀÌ°ÍÀ» ÀÐ°Ô µÇ¸é ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ ºñ¹Ð(°èȹ)¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ³ªÀÇ ÅëÂûÀ» ÀÌÇØÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ°Ô µÉ °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù.
    5[This mystery] was never disclosed to human beings in past generations as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles (consecrated messengers) and prophets by the [Holy] Spirit. ÀÌ ºñ¹Ð °èȹÀº Áö±ÝÀº ÁÖ´ÔÀÇ °Å·èÇÑ »çµµµé°ú ¼±ÁöÀڵ鿡°Ô ¼º·É´ÔÀ» ÅëÇØ µå·¯³» ÁÖ¼ÌÁö¸¸ , Áö³ª°£ ¼¼´ë¿¡¼­´Â »ç¶÷¿¡°Ô °áÄÚ ¾Ë·ÁÁöÁö 읺¾Ò½À´Ï´Ù.
    6[It is this:] that the Gentiles are now to be fellow heirs [with the Jews], members of the same body and joint partakers [sharing] in the same divine promise in Christ through [their acceptance of] the glad tidings (the Gospel). ±×°ÍÀº ¹Ù·Î ÀÌ°ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù.À̹æÀε鵵 º¹À½À» ÅëÇÏ¿©(º¹À½À» ¹Þ¾ÆµéÀÓÀ¸·Î½á) ÀÌÁ¦´Â À¯´ëÀεé°ú ÇÔ²² µ¿·á À¯»êÀÚ(À¯»ê¿¡ Âü¿©ÇÑ ÀÚ)¿ä, °°Àº ¸öÀÇ Áöü¿ä, ¿¹¼ö¾È¿¡¼­ µ¿ÀÏÇÑ °Å·èÇÑ ¾à¼ÓÀ» °øÀ¯ÇÑ °øµ¿ÀÇ Âü¿©ÀÚ°¡ µÇ¾ú´Ù´Â °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù.
    7Of this [Gospel] I was made a minister according to the gift of God's free grace (undeserved favor) which was bestowed on me by the exercise (the working in all its effectiveness) of His power. ³»°Ô ÁֽŠÇϳª´ÔÀÇ Á¦ÇѾø´Â ÀºÇýÀÇ ¼±¹°¿¡ µû¶ó ±×ºÐÀÇ ´É·ÂÀÇ ¿ª»ç·Î ³ª´Â º¹À½ÀÇ ÀϲÛÀÌ µÇ¾ú½À´Ï´Ù.
    8To me, though I am the very least of all the saints (God's consecrated people), this grace (favor, privilege) was granted and graciously entrusted: to proclaim to the Gentiles the unending (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out], ³ª·Î º¸¸é, ³ª´Â ¸ðµç ¼ºµµµé Áß¿¡¼­ °¡Àå ÀÛÀº ÀÚÀÌÁö¸¸, Çϳª´ÔÀº ÀÌ ÀºÇý(Ư±Ç)¸¦ ÁÖ½Ã°í ¶ÇÇÑ ÀºÇý·Ó°Ô ³»°Ô À§ÀÓÇØ Áּż­ À̹æÀε鿡°Ô ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ ÇѾøÀÌ ºÎ¿äÇϽÉÀ»( ¾î¶² »ç¶÷µµ ¾ËÁö ¸øÇÑ ºÎ¿äÇϽÉÀ» ) ¼±Æ÷ÇÏ°Ô Çϼ̽À´Ï´Ù.
    9Also to enlighten all men and make plain to them what is the plan [regarding the Gentiles and providing for the salvation of all men] of the mystery kept hidden through the ages and concealed until now in [the mind of] God Who created all things by Christ Jesus. ¶ÇÇÑ ¸ðµç »ç¶÷µéÀ» Àϱú¿ö °¡¸£Ãļ­, ¿¹¼ö±×¸®½ºµµ¿¡ ÀÇÇØ ¸ðµç °ÍÀ» âÁ¶ÇϽŠÇϳª´ÔÀÇ È¥¾È¿¡¼­ Áö±Ý±îÁö °¨Ãß¾îÁö°í ¿©·¯¼¼´ë¸¦ ÅëÇØ ¼û°ÜÁ® ¿Ô´ø (À̹æÀε鿡 ´ëÇØ, ¸ðµç »ç¶÷ÀÇ ±¸¿øÀ» À§ÇÑ Áغñ·Î¼­ÀÇ) ½ÅºñÀÇ ±× °èȹÀ» ¸í·áÇÏ°Ô ±×µé¿¡°Ô ¾Ëµµ·ÏÇϼ̽À´Ï´Ù.
    10[The purpose is] that through the church the complicated, many-sided wisdom of God in all its infinite variety and innumerable aspects might now be made known to the angelic rulers and authorities (principalities and powers) in the heavenly sphere. ±× ¸ñÀûÀº ±³È¸¸¦ ÅëÇÏ¿© Áö±Ý ¸ðµç ´Ù¾ç¼º°ú ÀÌ·ç´Ù Çì¾Æ¸± ¼ö¾ø´Â Ãø¸é¿¡¼­ ³ªÅ¸³ª´Â º¹Àâ´Ù´ÜÇÑ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ÁöÇý¸¦ Çϴÿ¡ Àִ õ»çÀåµé°ú ±Ç¼¼µé¿¡°Ô±îÁö ¾Ë¸®µµ·Ï ÇÑ °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù.
    11This is in accordance with the terms of the eternal and timeless purpose which He has realized and carried into effect in [the person of] Christ Jesus our Lord, ÀÌ°ÍÀº ¿ì¸® ÁÖ ¿¹¼ö ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ »ç¶÷µé ¾È¿¡¼­ ½ÇÇöµÇ¾îÁö°í ¿Ï¼öµÇ¾îÁø, ¿µ¿øÇÏ°íµµ ½Ã°£À» ³Ñ¾î¼± ¸ñÀû¿¡ µû¸¥ °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù.
    12In Whom, because of our faith in Him, we dare to have the boldness (courage and confidence) of free access (an unreserved approach to God with freedom and without fear). ¿¹¼ö ¾È¿¡¼­, ±×ºÐ¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ¹ÏÀ½À¸·Î ÀÎÇØ, ¿ì¸®´Â °¨È÷ (µÎ·Å¾øÀÌ ÀÚÀ¯·Ó°Ô Çϳª´Ô²² °Å¸®³¦¾øÀÌ) ³ª¾Æ°¥ ¿ë±â¿Í ´ã·ÂÀ» ¾ò½À´Ï´Ù.
    13So I ask you not to lose heart [not to faint or become despondent through fear] at what I am suffering in your behalf.     14For this reason [seeing the greatness of this plan by which you are built together in Christ], I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, (¿¹¼ö¾È¿¡¼­ ¿©·¯ºÐÀÌ ÇÔ²² °ÇÃàµÇ¾î°¨¿¡ ÀÇÇÑ ÀÌ°èȹÀÇ À§´ë¼ºÀ» ¾ÍÀ¸·Î ÀÎÇØ) ÀÌ·± ÀÌÀ¯¿¡¼­  ³ª´Â ÁÖ¿¹¼ö±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ ¾Æ¹öÁö²² ¹«¸­²Ý°í ±âµµÇÕ´Ï´Ù.
    15For Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named [that Father from Whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its name].

    17May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts!     1I THEREFORE, the prisoner for the Lord, appeal to and beg you to walk (lead a life) worthy of the [divine] calling to which you have been called [with behavior that is a credit to the summons to God's service,

    3Be eager and strive earnestly to guard and keep the harmony and oneness of [and produced by] the Spirit in the binding power of peace. ¿­½ÉÀ» ³»°í ºÎÁö·±È÷ ³ë·ÂÇÏ¿©¼­ Æò°­ÀÇ ¹­´Â ´É·Â¾È¿¡¼­ ¼º·É´ÔÀÇ Á¶È­·Ó°Ô ÇϽɰú ÇϳªµÇ°Ô ÇϽŠ°ÍÀ» º¸ÀüÇÏ°í ÁöÅ°½Ê½Ã¿ä.
    4[There is] one body and one Spirit--just as there is also one hope [that belongs] to the calling you received--¸öµµ Çϳª¿ä ¼º·É´Ôµµ ÇϳªÀÔ´Ï´Ù. ¶ÇÇÑ ¿©·¯ºÐÀÌ ¹ÞÀº ºÎ¸£½É¿¡ ¼ÓÇÑ ¼Ò¸Áµµ ÇϳªÀÔ´Ï´Ù.
    5[There is] one Lord, one faith, one baptism, ÁÖ´Ôµµ Çϳª¿ä, ¹ÏÀ½µµ Çϳª¿ä, ¼¼·Êµµ ÇϳªÀÔ´Ï´Ù.

    10He Who descended is the [very] same as He Who also has ascended high above all the heavens, that He [His presence] might fill all things (the whole universe, from the lowest to the highest). ³»·Á °¬´ø ±×ºÐÀÌ ¶ÇÇÑ ¹Ù·Î, ¸ðµç °ÍÀ» Ã游ÄÉ ÇϽ÷Á°í  ¸ðµç Çϴõé À§·Î ¿Ã¶ó°¡¼Ì½À´Ï´Ù.

    12His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), [that they should do] the work of ministering toward building up Christ's body (the church), ±×ºÐÀÇ Àǵµ´Â ¼ºµµ¸¦ ¿ÂÀüÄÉ ÇÏ°í Àß ±¸ºñµÇ°Ô(°®Ãß¾îÁö°Ô) ÇÏ°í, ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ ¸öÀÎ ±³È¸¸¦ ¼¼¿ì±â À§ÇÑ, ¼¶±è(ºÀ»ç)ÀÇ ÀÏÀ» Çϵµ·Ï Çϱâ À§ÇÑ °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù.
    13[That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ's own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him.     14So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of] the cunning and cleverness of unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead. ±×·¯¹Ç·Î ¿ì¸®´Â ´õÀÌ»ó °¡¸£Ä§ÀÇ µ¹Ç³ »çÀÌ¿¡¼­ ¹èó·³ Èçµé¸®°Å³ª, ÀÌ·ÐÀÇ ¸ðµç º¯È­ÀÇ ¹Ù¶÷ Áï, À߸øÀεµÇÏ´Â, ²Ù¸ç³½ ¿À·ù¼Ó¿¡¼­ ÀÚ²Ù  º¯ÇÏ´Â ¸ðµç ¼ÓÀÓ¼ö¿¡ °ü°èµÈ »ç±â²Û °°Àº, ºñ¾ç½ÉÀûÀÎ »ç¶÷µéÀÇ °£±³ÇÔ°ú ¼¼¼ÓÀûÀÎ ¿µ¸®ÇÔ¿¡ ¿Ô´Ù°¬´ÙÇÏ´Â ±×·± ¾î¸° ¾ÆÀÌ°¡ µÇ¾î¼­´Â ¾ÈµË´Ï´Ù. 
    15Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). ¿ÀÈ÷·Á ¿ì¸® »î¼Ó¿¡¼­ »ç¶û½º·´°Ô Áø¸®¸¦ ³ªÅ¸³À½Ã´Ù.(¸ðµç ¸é¿¡¼­ Áø½ÇµÇ°Ô ¸»ÇÏ°í, Áø½ÇµÇ°Ô ÇàÇÏ°í, Áø½ÇµÇ°Ô »ç½Ê½Ã´Ù) »ç¶û¿¡ °¨½Î¿©¼­, ¸ðµç ¹æ¹ý¿¡¼­, ¸ðµç ¸é¿¡¼­ ¸Ó·¯°¡ µÇ½Å ±×¸®½ºµµ±îÁö Àڶ󰩽ôÙ.
    16For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love. ±×ºÐÀ¸·Î ÀÎÇØ (¸ðµç Áöü¸¦ °¡Áø) ¸öÀÎ ±³È¸´Â ÃæºÐÈ÷ ¿µ¾ç°ø±ÞÀ» ¹ÞÀº °üÀý°ú Àδë·Î °¡±îÀÌ °áÇյǰí, ÇÔ²²  ¿¬°áµÇ°í  °¢ Áöü°¡ ÀûÀýÈ÷ ±â´ÉÇÒ¶§, ¿ÏÀüÈ÷ ¼º¼÷ÇÔ¿¡±îÁö Àڶ󳪼­ »ç¶û¾È¿¡¼­ ¼¼¿öÁ® °©´Ï´Ù.
    17So this I say and solemnly testify in [the name of] the Lord [as in His presence], that you must no longer live as the heathen (the Gentiles) do in their perverseness [in the folly, vanity, and emptiness of their souls and the futility] of their minds. ±×·¯¹Ç·Î ³»°¡ Çϳª´Ô  ¾Õ¿¡¼­ ¸»ÇÏ´Â °Íó·³ ÁÖ´ÔÀÇ À̸§À¸·Î ¾ö¼÷È÷ ¸»ÇÏ°í Áõ°ÅÇÏ´Â ¹Ù´Â, ¿©·¯ºÐÀº ´õ ÀÌ»ó ºñ¶Ô¾îÁö°í ½É¼ú±ÄÀº È¥ °¡¿îµ¥ ÇàÇÏ´Â (¾î¸®¼®°í, °øÇãÇϸç, ºó²®µ¥±âÀÇ ¹«ÀÍÇÑ È¥Àû »îÀ» »ç´Â) À̹æÀÎÀ¸·Î¼­ »ìÁö ¸»¶ó´Â °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù.
    18Their moral understanding is darkened and their reasoning is beclouded. [They are] alienated (estranged, self-banished) from the life of God [with no share in it; this is] because of the ignorance (the want of knowledge and perception, the willful blindness) that is deep-seated in them, due to their hardness of heart [to the insensitiveness of their moral nature]. ±×µéÀÇ µµ´öÀû ÀÌÇØ´Â ¾îµÎ¿öÁ® ÀÖ°í ±×µéÀÇ À̼ºµµ °¡¸®¿öÁ® ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. ½É·ÉÀÌ ±»¾îÁüÀ¸·Î ÀÎÇØ ±×µé¾È¿¡ ±íÀÌ ÀÚ¸®Àâ°í ÀÖ´Â ¹«ÁöÇÔ (Áö½Ä°ú °¨°¢ÀÌ ¾ø°í °íÁý½º·¯¿î ´«¸Ø) ¶§¹®¿¡, ±×µéÀº Çϳª´ÔÀÇ »ý¸í¿¡ ´ëÇØ °øÀ¯ÇÏÁö ¸øÇÏ°í, ³¸¼³°í ¼Ò¿ÜµÈ, ¹®¿ÜÇÑÀÔ´Ï´Ù.
    19In their spiritual apathy they have become callous and past feeling and reckless and have abandoned themselves [a prey] to unbridled sensuality, eager and greedy to indulge in every form of impurity [that their depraved desires may suggest and demand].
    20But you did not so learn Christ!  ¿µÀû ¹«°¨µ¿ °¡¿îµ¥¼­ ±×µéÀº °¨°¢ÀÌ ¾ø°í °¨µ¿ÀÌ ¸Ö¾îÁö°í ¹«¸ðÇÏ¸ç °í»ßÇ®¸° °ü´É(À°¿å)¿¡ ÀÚ½ÅÀ» ¸Ã±â°í (±×µéÀÇ Å¸¶ôÇÑ ¿å¸ÁµéÀÌ À̲ô´Â ´ë·Î) ¿Â°® ÇüÅÂÀÇ Á¤°áÄ¡ ¸øÇÑ °ÍµéÀ» ¿­Á¤ÀûÀ¸·Î Ž¿å½º·´°Ô Ž´ÐÇÏ°í ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. ±×·¯³ª ¿©·¯ºÐÀº ±×¸®½ºµµ¸¦ ±×·¸°Ô ¹è¿ìÁö ¾Ê¾Ò½À´Ï´Ù.
    21Assuming that you have really heard Him and been taught by Him, as [all] Truth is in Jesus [embodied and personified in Him], ³»°¡ ¾Ë±â·Î´Â, ¿©·¯ºÐÀº ¿¹¼ö´Ô ¾È¿¡ ÀÖ´Â (±¸Ã¼È­µÇ°í ÀΰÝÈ­ µÈ) ¸ðµç Áø¸®¿¡ µû¶ó, Áø½Ç·Î ±×ºÐÀÇ ¸»¾¸À» µé¾ú°í ±×ºÐ¿¡°Ô¼­ ¹è¿ö¿Ô½À´Ï´Ù.
    22Strip yourselves of your former nature [put off and discard your old unrenewed self] which characterized your previous manner of life and becomes corrupt through lusts and desires that spring from delusion; (±¸¿ø ¹Þ±â) ÀÌÀüÀÇ »îÀÇ Åµµ·Î Ư¡Áö¾îÁö°í ¶ÇÇÑ ¸Á»óÀ¸·ÎºÎÅÍ ºÐÃâµÇ¾î ³ª¿Â, ¿¹Àü º»¼ºÀ» °¡Áø ¿©·¯ºÐ ÀÚ½ÅÀ» (°Åµì³ªÁö ¸øÇÑ ¿¾ÀھƸ¦) ¹þ¾î¹ö¸®°í
    23And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude], ¿©·¯ºÐÀÇ È¥¼ÓÀÇ ¿µÀ» °Â¼Ó »õ·Ó°ÔÇÏ¿©
    24And put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in God's image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness.Áø½ÇÇÑ ÀǷοò°ú °Å·èÇÔ ¾È¿¡¼­ (Çϳª´Ôó·³) Çϳª´ÔÀÇ Çü»óÀ¸·Î ÁöÀ¸½ÉÀ» ¹ÞÀº »õ ¼ºÇ°( ÀçâÁ¶µÈ ÀÚ¾Æ)¸¦ ÀÔÀ¸½Ê½Ã¿ä.
    25Therefore, rejecting all falsity and being done now with it, let everyone express the truth with his neighbor, for we are all parts of one body and members one of another.±×·¯¹Ç·Î ¸ðµç °ÅÁþÀ» °ÅºÎÇÏ°í Áö±Ý »õ ¼ºÇ°ÀÌ ÀÛµ¿µÇ°Ô ÇϽʽÿä. ¸ðµç »ç¶÷µéÀÌ ÀÌ¿ôµé¿¡°Ô Áø¸®¸¦ ³ªÅ¸³»°Ô Çϵµ·Ï ÇϽʽÿä. ¿ì¸®´Â ÇÑ ¸öÀÇ ¸ðµç ºÎºÐµéÀÌ¿ä ¼­·Î¼­·ÎÀÇ ÁöüÀÔ´Ï´Ù.
    26When angry, do not sin; do not ever let your wrath (your exasperation, your fury or indignation) last until the sun goes down. È­¸¦ ³»¾îµµ ¹üÁËÇÏÁö ¸¶½Ê½Ã¿ä : ÇØÁö±â±îÁö ¿©·¯ºÐÀÇ ºÐ³ë¸¦ Áö¼ÓµÇ°Ô ÇÏÁö ¸¶½Ê½Ã¿ä.
    27Leave no [such] room or foothold for the devil [give no opportunity to him]. ¸¶±Í¿¡°Ô ¾î¶² Æ´À̳ª ¹ßÆÇÀ» (±âȸ¸¦) ³²°Ü ³õÁö ¸¶½Ê½Ã¿ä.
    28Let the thief steal no more, but rather let him be industrious, making an honest living with his own hands, so that he may be able to give to those in need. µµµÏÀº ´õÀÌ»ó µµµÏÁúÇÏÁö ¸¶½Ê½Ã¿ä. ¿ÀÈ÷·Á ¿­½ÉÈ÷ ÀÏÇؼ­ ±×ÀÚ½ÅÀÇ ¼ÕÀ¸·Î Á¤Á÷ÇÑ »îÀ» »ì¸é ±ÃÇÌÇÑ »ç¶÷À» µµ¿ï ¼ö ÀÖÀ» °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù.
    29Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, but only such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God's favor) to those who hear it. ¾ÇÃ볪°í ¿À¿°½ÃÅ°´Â ¸», ¾ÇÇÑ ¸»À̳ª ºÒ°ÇÀüÇÑ ¸», °¡Ä¡¾ø´Â ¸»µéÀº ¿©·¯ºÐÀÇ ÀÔ¿¡¼­ Á¦ÇÏ¿© ¹ö¸®°í, ²À ÇÊ¿äÇÑ ¸» ¶Ç´Â °æ¿ì¿¡ ¸Â´Â ¸»Ã³·³, ´Ù¸¥ »ç¶÷µéÀÇ ¿µÀû Áøº¸¿¡ µµ¿òµÇ´Â ¼±ÇÑ ¸»µé¸¸ ÇÏ¿© ±×°ÍÀ» µè´Â »ç¶÷µé¿¡°Ô ÃູÀÌ µÇ°í ÀºÇý¸¦ ³¢Ä¡µµ·Ï ÇϽʽÿä.
    30And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [do not offend or vex or sadden Him], by Whom you were sealed (marked, branded as God's own, secured) for the day of redemption (of final deliverance through Christ from evil and the consequences of sin). Ephesians 5
    1THEREFORE BE imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father].

    15Look carefully then how you walk!  1CHILDREN, OBEY your parents in the Lord [as His representatives], for this is just and right

 9You masters, act on the same [principle] toward them and give up threatening and using violent and abusive words, knowing that He Who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and that there is no respect of persons (no partiality) with Him. ¿©·¯ºÐ, ÁÖÀÎµÈ ÀÚµéÀÌ¿© ±×µé¿¡ ´ëÇÏ¿© ¶È°°Àº ¿øÄ¢À¸·Î ÇàÇÏ¿© À§Çù,Æø·Â, ¸ðµ¶ÇÏ´Â ¸»À» ¹ö¸®½Ê½Ã¿ä.  ¿©·¯ºÐÀÇ ÁÖ´ÔÀÌ½Ã¸ç ¶ÇÇÑ ±×µéÀÇ ÁÖ´ÔÀ̽Š±× ºÐÀÌ Çϴÿ¡ °è½Ã°í °Å±â¿¡´Â Â÷º°ÀÌ ¾øÀ½À» ¾Ë¾ÆµÎ½Ê½Ã¿ä.
 10In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. ¸¶Áö¸·À¸·Î, Á־ȿ¡¼­ °­°ÇÇϽʽÿä (±×ºÐ°úÀÇ ¿¬ÇÕÀ» ÅëÇØ ´É·ÂÀ» ¹ÞÀ¸½Ê½Ã¿ä): ±×ºÐÀ¸·ÎºÎÅÍ ¿©·¯ºÐÀÇ (±×ºÐÀÇ ÇÑ·®¾ø´Â)ÈûÀ» °ø±Þ¹ÞÀ¸½Ê½Ã¿ä.
 11Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.  (Çϳª´ÔÀÌ °ø±ÞÇϽô Áß¹«ÀåÇÑ º´»çÀÇ °©¿ÊÀÎ) Çϳª´ÔÀÇ Àü½Å°©ÁÖ¸¦ ÀÔÀ¸½Ê½Ã¿ä ±×·¡¼­ ¸¶±ÍÀÇ ¸ðµç °è·«°ú ±â¸¸¼ú¿¡ ´ëÇØ ¼º°øÀûÀ¸·Î ±»°ÇÈ÷ ¼³ ¼ö ÀÖµµ·Ï ÇϽʽÿä.
 12For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. ¿ì¸®´Â Ç÷°úÀ°¿¡ ´ëÇØ(À°Ã¼ÀûÀÎ ´ëÀûµé¸¸¿¡ ´ëÇØ) ½Î¿òÀ» ÇÏ°í ÀÖ´Â °ÍÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï¶ó Á¤»ç(µ¶ÀçÀÚµé), ±Ç¼¼(´É·Âµé), ÇöÀçÀÇ ¾îµÒ°¡¿îµ¥ ÀÖ´Â ¼¼»ó ÁÖ°üÀÚµé, Çϴÿ¡ ÀÖ´Â(ÃÊÀÚ¿¬ÀûÀÎ) ¾ÇÀÇ ¿µÀû±º´ë¿¡ ´ëÇØ ½Î¿òÀ» ÇÏ°í ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù.
 13Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place]. ±×·¯¹Ç·Î Çϳª´ÔÀÇ Àü½Å°©ÁÖ¸¦ ÀԾ, À§ÇèÀÌ ´ÚÄ¡´Â ¾ÇÇÑ ³¯¿¡ ¿©·¯ºÐÀÌ ÀúÇ×ÇÏ°í ±»°ÇÈ÷  ¶¥¿¡ ¹ßÀ» µðµð°í ¼³ ¼öÀÖµµ·Ï, ±×¸®°í ÀÌ ¸ðµç ÀÏÀ»(À§±â ´ëó) ÇàÇÑ ÈÄ¿¡ ¿©·¯ºÐÀÇ À§Ä¡¿¡ ±»°ÇÈ÷ ¼­ ÀÖµµ·Ï ÇϽʽÿä.
 14Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God, ±×·¯¹Ç·Î ¿©·¯ºÐÀÇ ¹ß·Î ¶¥À» ±»°ÇÈ÷ µðµð°í ¼­¼­, Áø¸®ÀÇ Ç㸮¶ì¸¦ Á¶ÀÌ°í  Á¤Á÷°ú µµ´öÀû ¼º½Ç, Çϳª´Ô ¿ìÆí¿¡ ¼¶ÀÇ Èä¹è¸¦ ÀÔ°í,
 15And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace. Æò°­ÀÇ º¹À½ÀÇ ¿¹ºñµÊ ¾È¿¡¼­ ½Å¹ßÀ» ½Å°í (ÀûÀ» ¸Â¼­±â À§ÇØ, ¾ÈÁ¤¼º, ½Å¼Ó¼º, ¹Îø¼ºÀ» ¹ßÈÖÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖµµ·Ï º¹À½À¸·Î ¿¹ºñµÈ ²À ¸Â´Â ½Å¹ßÀ» ½Å°í)
 16Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one]. ¸ðµç °Í À§¿¡ ±¸¿øÀÇ ¹ÏÀ½ÀÇ º¸È£¹æÆи¦ µé¾î ¿Ã·Á¼­ ¾ÇÇÑÀÚÀÇ ¸ðµç È­ÀüÀ» ¼Ò¸êÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖµµ·Ï ÇÏ°í
 17And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God. ±¸¿øÀÇ Åõ±¸¸¦ ¾²°í, ¼º·ÉÀÇ Èֵθ£´Â °Ë °ð, Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¸»¾¸À» °¡Áö½Ê½Ã¿ä.
 18Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated people). Ç×»ó(¾î¶² ¶§³ª, ¾î¶² °æ¿ì¿¡¼­³ª) ±âµµ¿Í °£±¸ÀÇ ¸ðµç ¹æ¹ýÀ¸·Î ¼º·É¾È¿¡¼­ ±âµµÇϽʽÿä. ³¡±îÁö ±ú¾î ÀÖ°í °­ÇÑ ¸ñÀû±« Àγ»¸¦ °ßÁöÇϸ鼭 ¸ðµç ¼ºµµµéÀ» À§ÇØ Áߺ¸Çϸ鼭 ÁöÄÑ Áֽʽÿä.
 19And [pray] also for me, that [freedom of] utterance may be given me, that I may open my mouth to proclaim boldly the mystery of the good news (the Gospel), ¶ÇÇÑ ³ª¸¦ À§Çؼ­µµ  ±âµµÇÒ °ÍÀº ³»°Ô ¸»¾¸ÀÇ Àڹ߼º°ú ÀÚÀ¯ÇÔÀ» Áּż­ ³» ÀÔÀ» ¿­¾î º¹À½ÀÇ ºñ¹ÐÀ» ´ã´ëÈ÷ ÀüÇÏ°Ô ÇØ ´Þ¶ó°í ±âµµÇØ Áֽʽÿä
 20For which I am an ambassador in a coupling chain [in prison. Pray] that I may declare it boldly and courageously, as I ought to do. ³ª´Â °¨¿ÁÀÇ ¼è»ç½½¿¡ ¹­ÀÎ ´ë»ç·Î¼­ ´ë´ãÇÏ°í ¿ë°¨ÇÏ°Ô ±×°ÍÀ» ¼±Æ÷ÇÏ´Â °ÍÀÌ ³»°¡ ¸¶¶¥È÷ ÇØ¾ß ÇÒ ÀÏÀ̱⠶§¹®ÀÔ´Ï´Ù.
 21Now that you may know how I am and what I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord [and His service], will tell you everything. ³» »óÅÂ¿Í ³»°¡ ÇÏ´Â ÀϵéÀ» ¾Ë·Áµå¸®µµ·Ï,  ¿©·¯ºÐ¿¡°Ô ¸ðµç °ÍÀ» ¸»ÇØÁÙ ÁִԾȿ¡¼­ »ç¶ûÇÏ´Â ÇüÁ¦¿ä, ½Å½ÇÇÑ Á¾ÀÎ µÎ±â°í¸¦
