1 John 1 1[WE ARE writing] about the Word of Life [in] Him Who existed from the beginning, Whom we have heard, Whom we have seen with our [own] eyes, Whom we have gazed upon [for ourselves] and have touched with our [own] hands. ÅÂÃʺÎÅÍ °è½Å ºÐ ¾È¿¡ ÀÖ´Â »ý¸íÀÇ ¸»¾¸¿¡ ´ëÇÏ¿© ¿ì¸®´Â ¾²°í ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. ¿ì¸®´Â ±×ºÐ¿¡°Ô¼ Á÷Á¢ µé¾ú°í ±×ºÐÀ» ¿ì¸® ´«À¸·Î Á÷Á¢ ÁÖ¸ñÇÏ¿© º¸¾Ò°í ¿ì¸® ¼ÕÀ¸·Î ±× ºÐÀ» ¸¸Á® º¸¾Ò½À´Ï´Ù. 2And the Life [an aspect of His being] was revealed (made manifest, demonstrated), and we saw [as eyewitnesses] and are testifying to and declare to you the Life, the eternal Life [in Him] Who already existed with the Father and Who [actually] was made visible (was revealed) to us [His followers]. ÀÌ¹Ì ¾Æ¹öÁö¿Í ÇÔ²² °è¼Ì°í Á¦ÀÚÀÎ ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ºÐ¸íÈ÷ µå·¯³» ÁֽŠ±×ºÐ ¾È¿¡ ÀÖ´Â »ý¸íÀÌ ¹ÛÀ¸·Î ºÐ¸íÇÏ°Ô µå·¯³ª¼ ±×°ÍÀ» º» ¸ñ°ÝÀÚÀÎ ¿ì¸®´Â ±×ºÐ¾È¿¡ ÀÖ´Â ¿µ¿øÇÑ »ý¸íÀ» ¿©·¯ºÐ¿¡°Ô Áõ°ÅÇÏ°í ¼±Æ÷ÇÏ´Â °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù. 3What we have seen and [ourselves] heard, we are also telling you, so that you too may realize and enjoy fellowship as partners and partakers with us. And [this] fellowship that we have [which is a distinguishing mark of Christians] is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah). ¿ì¸®°¡ º¸°í µéÀº °ÍÀ» ¶ÇÇÑ ¿©·¯ºÐ¿¡°Ô ÀüÇÏ´Â °ÍÀº ¿©·¯ºÐÀÌ ¿ì¸®¿Í ¸¶Âù°¡Áö·Î ±×ºÐÀ» üµæÇÏ°í(Çö½Ç·Î¼ ½Ç°¨ÇÏ°í), ¿ì¸®¿Í ÇÔ²² µ¿¿ªÀÚ¿ä Âü¿©Àڷμ ±³Á¦(Ä£±³)¸¦ ÇâÀ¯Çϱ⸦ ¹Ù¶ó±â ¶§¹®Àε¥, ÀÌ ±³Á¦´Â ¾Æ¹öÁö¿Í ¾Æµé ¿¹¼ö´Ô°ú ÇÔ²² ÇÏ´Â °ÍÀ¸·Î¼ ±×¸®½ºµµÀÎÀÇ ¶Ñ·ÇÇÑ Æ¯Â¡ÀÎ °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù. 4And we are now writing these things to you so that our joy [in seeing you included] may be full [and your joy may be complete]. Áö±Ý ¿ì¸®´Â ¿©·¯ºÐ¿¡°Ô ÀÌ°ÍÀ» ½áº¸³¿À¸·Î¼ (±×¾È¿¡ Æ÷ÇÔµÈ ¿©·¯ºÐÀ» º½À¸·Î½á)¿ì¸®ÀÇ ±â»ÝÀÌ ³ÑÄ¡°í ¶ÇÇÑ ¿©·¯ºÐÀÇ ±â»ÝÀÌ ¿ÏÀüÇØÁö±â¸¦ ¹Ù¶ø´Ï´Ù. 5And this is the message [the message of promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all no, not in any way]. 1 John 2 1MY LITTLE children, I write you these things so that you may not violate God's law and sin. But if anyone should sin, we have an Advocate (One Who will intercede for us) with the Father--[it is] Jesus Christ [the all] righteous [upright, just, Who conforms to the Father's will in every purpose, thought, and action]. ÀÚ³àµéÀÌ¿© ³»°¡ ¿©·¯ºÐ¿¡°Ô ÀÌ°ÍÀ» ¾²´Â °ÍÀº Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¹ýÀ» ¹üÇÏ¿© ÁËÁþÁö ¾Êµµ·Ï Çϱâ À§ÇÔÀÔ´Ï´Ù. ±×·¯³ª ´©±º°¡°¡ Á˸¦ ¹üÇÏ¸é ¿ì¸®¿¡°Õ Çϳª´Ô°ú ÇÔ²² °è½Å(¿ì¸®¸¦ À§ÇØ Áߺ¸ÇϽôÂ) º¯È£ÀÚ°¡ °è½Ê´Ï´Ù. ±×ºÐÀº ¹Ù·Î ¿¹¼ö ±×¸®½ºµµÀ̽ŵ¥ ¸ñÀû, »ý°¢,ÇàÀ§ÀÇ ¸ðµç ¸é¿¡¼ ¿ÏÀüÈ÷ ¾Æ¹öÁö¿Í ÀÏÄ¡µÇ¾î ÀǷοì½Ã°í Á¤Á÷ÇÑ ºÐÀÔ´Ï´Ù. 2And He [that same Jesus Himself] is the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins, and not for ours alone but also for [the sins of] the whole world. ±×¸®°í ¿¹¼ö´Ô ÀÚ½ÅÀÌ ¿ì¸® Á˸¦ À§ÇÑ È¸ñÁ¦¹°ÀÌ½Ã¸ç ¶ÇÇÑ ¿ì¸®ÀÇ ÁË »Ó¸¸ ¾Æ´Ï¶ó ¿Â ¼¼»óÀÇ Á˸¦ À§ÇÑ °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù. 3And this is how we may discern [daily, by experience] that we are coming to know Him [to perceive, recognize, understand, and become better acquainted with Him]: if we keep (bear in mind, observe, practice) His teachings (precepts, commandments). I am writing to you, young men, because you have been victorious over the wicked [one]. I write to you, young men, because you are strong and vigorous, and the Word of God is [always] abiding in you (in your hearts), and you have been victorious over the wicked one. ¾ÆºñµéÀÌ¿© ¿©·¯ºÐÀº ÅÂÃʺÎÅÍ °è½ÅÀ̸¦ ¾Ë¾Ò°í ÀþÀºÀ̵éÀÌ¿© ¿©·¯ºÐÀº °ÇÏ°í ´ã´ëÇϸç Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¸»¾¸ÀÌ Ç×»ó ¿©·¯ºÐÀÇ ½É·É¿¡ ÀÖ¾î¼ ¾ÇÇÑÀÚ¸¦ ÀÌ°å±â ¶§¹®ÀÔ´Ï´Ù. 15Do not love or cherish the world or the things that are in the world. Whoever confesses (acknowledges and has) the Son has the Father also. ¾ÆµéÀ» ºÎÀÎÇÏ´Â ÀÚ¿¡°Ô´Â ¾Æ¹öÁö°¡ ¾øÀ¸¸ç ¾ÆµéÀ» ÀÎÁ¤ÇÏ°í ¸ð½Ã¸ç °í¹éÇÏ´Â ÀÚ´Â ¾Æ¹öÁö¿¡ ´ëÇؼµµ ¶ÇÇÑ ±×·¯ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. 24As for you, keep in your hearts what you have heard from the beginning. 1 John 3 1SEE WHAT [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! The reason that the world does not know (recognize, acknowledge) us is that it does not know (recognize, acknowledge) Him. ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô º£Ç®¾îÁֽŠ¾Æ¹öÁöÀÇ ÁúÀûÀÎ »ç¶ûÀÇ ¾öû³²À» »ý°¢ÇØ º¸½Ê½Ã¿ä. ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ÀÚ³à¶ó´Â À̸§À» ÁÖ½Ã°í ºÒ·¯ Áֽðí Ä£È÷ ÀÚ³à·Î »ï¾ÆÁּ̽À´Ï´Ù. ¿ì¸®°¡ ±×·±ÀÚµéÀÔ´Ï´Ù. ¼¼»óÀÌ ¿ì¸®¸¦ ¾ËÁöµµ ¸øÇÏ°í ÀÎÁ¤ÇÏÁöµµ ¾Ê´Â ÀÌÀ¯´Â ±×ºÐÀ» ¾ËÁöµµ ¸øÇÏ°í ÀÎÁ¤ÇÏÁöµµ ¾Ê±â ¶§¹®ÀÔ´Ï´Ù. 2Beloved, we are [even here and] now God's children; it is not yet disclosed (made clear) what we shall be [hereafter], but we know that when He comes and is manifested, we shall [as God's children] resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He [really] is. »ç¶ûÇÏ´Â ÀÚµéÀÌ¿© ¿ì¸®´Â Áö±Ý ¿©±â¿¡¼Á¶Â÷µµ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ÀÚ³àÀÔ´Ï´Ù. ¿ì¸®°¡ ÀåÂ÷ ¾î¶»°Ô µÉ °ÍÀº ¾ÆÁ÷ ºÐ¸íÇÏ°Ô µå·¯³ªÁö ¾Ê¾ÒÁö¸¸ ¿ì¸®°¡ ¾Æ´Â °ÍÀº ±×ºÐÀÌ ¿À¼Å¼ ¹àÈ÷ µå·¯³»½Ã¸é Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ÀÚ³àÀÎ ¿ì¸®µµ ±×ºÐÀ» ¸¹ÀÌ ´à°í ºñ½ÁÇØÁ® ÀÖÀ¸¸®¶ó´Â °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù. 3And everyone who has this hope [resting] on Him cleanses (purifies) himself just as He is pure (chaste, undefiled, guiltless). ±×ºÐ¿¡ ´ëÇØ ÀÌ ¼Ò¸ÁÀ» °¡Áø ÀÚ¸¶´Ù ±×ºÐÀÌ Á˾øÀ¸½Ã°í ±ú²ýÇÏ°í ¼ø¼öÇÏ°í ¼º°áÇϽŠ°Íó·³ ÀÚ±âÀÚ½ÅÀ» ±ú²ýÇÏ°í ¼º°áÇÏ°Ô ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. 4Everyone who commits (practices) sin is guilty of lawlessness; for [that is what] sin is, lawlessness (the breaking, violating of God's law by transgression or neglect--being unrestrained and unregulated by His commands and His will). He who practices righteousness [who is upright, conforming to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action, living a consistently conscientious life] is righteous, even as He is righteous. À̼¼»ó¿¡ ³ªÅ¸³ª½Å Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¾ÆµéÀº ¸¶±Í°¡ ÇÏ´Â ÀϵéÀ» ¸êÇÏ·¯(Ãë¼ÒÇÏ°í, Çعæ½ÃÅ°°í, ¿ÍÇؽÃÅ°·¯) ¿À¼Ì½À´Ï´Ù. 9No one born (begotten) of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, for God's nature abides in him [His principle of life, the divine sperm, remains permanently within him]; and he cannot practice sinning because he is born (begotten) of God. ÀǸ¦ ÇàÇÏÁö ¾Ê´Â(¸ñÀû, »ý°¢, ÇàÀ§¿¡ ÀÖ¾î¼ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¶æ¿¡ ÇÕÄ¡µÇÁö ¾Ê´Â) »ç¶÷Àº Çϳª´Ô²² ¼ÓÇØ ÀÖÁö ¾Ê½À´Ï´Ù. ¶ÇÇÑ ±×ÀÇ ÇüÁ¦(±×¸®½ºµµ¸¦ ¹Ï´Â µ¿·á½ÅÀÚ)¸¦ »ç¶ûÇÏÁö ¾Ê´Â »ç¶÷µµ ¸¶Âù°¡ÁöÀÔ´Ï´Ù. 11For this is the message (the announcement) which you have heard from the first, that we should love one another, ÀÌ·±ÀÌÀ¯¿¡¼ óÀ½ºÎÅÍ ¿©·¯ºÐÀÌ µé¾î ¿Â ¸Þ¼¼Áö´Â ¿ì¸®´Â ¼·Î »ç¶ûÇØ¾ß ÇÑ´Ù´Â °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù. 12[And] not be like Cain who [took his nature and got his motivation] from the evil one and slew his brother. And why did he slay him Because his deeds (activities, works) were wicked and malicious and his brother's were righteous (virtuous). ¸¶±Í·ÎºÎÅÍ º»¼º°ú ±× µ¿±â¸¦ ¹Þ¾Æ¼ ±× ÇüÁ¦¸¦ Á×ÀÎ °¡ÀÎÀ» ´àÁö ¸¶½Ê½Ã¿ä. ¿Ö ±×°¡ ±× ÇüÁ¦¸¦ Á׿´À»±î¿ä ¿Ö³ÄÇÏ¸é ±×ÀÇ ÇàÀ§°¡ »ç¾ÇÇÏ°í ¾ÇÀÇ¿¡ Â÷ ÀÖ°í ±×ÀÇ ÇüÁ¦´Â (Á¤°áÇÏ°í)ÀǷӱ⠶§¹®À̾ú½À´Ï´Ù. 13Do not be surprised and wonder, brethren, that the world detests and pursues you with hatred. Whoever is learning to know God [progressively to perceive, recognize, and understand God by observation and experience, and to get an ever-clearer knowledge of Him] listens to us; and he who is not of God does not listen or pay attention to us.
